Step 1: What happens in the first hour?

You chew the gummy, so there is no shell to open and nothing to wait for. Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble and is absorbed with dietary fat, which is why a meal helps a little. Boron in a glycinate form is absorbed well and appears in blood within hours. The four herb extracts, at 100 mcg each, follow their own routes in amounts too small to trace.

Nothing in that list produces a feeling. There is no stimulant and nothing that dilates a blood vessel. If you feel something on day one, you are probably feeling breakfast.

Step 2: What happens in the first week?

Boron settles to a steady state in days, and it has no perceptible arrival. Vitamin D starts building. Neither is something you can feel. This is the stretch in which the distributor's own low-score theme appears: buyers who wanted more in week one.

That theme fits the chemistry. The label does not ask for a first-week double dose, and a bigger first week would not bring the plateau forward. Keep to one gummy a day.

Step 3: What happens in weeks two to six?

Vitamin D3 does not act as swallowed. The liver converts it to 25-hydroxyvitamin D, which is the form a blood test measures, and the kidney converts that to the active hormone. That chain is why vitamin D is measured in weeks and not hours.

The four herbs. Each has a proposed mechanism, such as fenugreek saponins, a non-hormonal effect for maca, and icariin acting as a weak PDE5 inhibitor in a test tube. Those were described at doses far above 100 mcg. Reading them as a promise about this gummy goes past what the papers say.

Which things can move your timeline?

• Your starting vitamin D level. The largest variable. Low to start means more to correct.
• Whether you take it daily. Thirty gummies and thirty days leave no room for gaps. A bottle that lasts five weeks pushes the plateau out.
• What else changed. Sleep, alcohol, training and weight move these same areas faster than any nutrient.
